Back-to-school season for Family Consumer Science teachers is BUSY, especially if you are teaching more than one class. Having some fun printables and activities ready to use for those crazy days when schedules are changing and you are meeting new students is key.
Here are a few activities that can be used in any Family Consumer Science class when you start back up in the school year.
The “All About Me Quilt Block Activity” has students choose a quilt square and write information about themselves, such as their name, something they love, a word to describe themselves, and more. They then color and decorate their square to represent themselves. Once all squares are complete, you can put them on a bulletin board side by side as a class “quilt”.
